APROVACA - the Orchid Center
APROVACA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of native orchid species in the charming town of El Valle de Anton, Panama.
APROVACA is an acronym for Associacion de Productores de Orquideas de El Valle y Cabuya, that is, the Association of Orchid Producers in El Valle an Cabuya.
It was established on May 15, 2001, with the goals of protecting endangered orchid species endemic to the region and rehabilitating them into the natural forest to promote the conservation and sustainability of Panamas biodiversity.

Anton's Valley is one of the most fertile places on earth and for this reason it is
filled with flowers of all kinds. Anton's Valley is home to an Orchid Conservatory that displays
thousands of orchids, which are among the rarest and most beatiful yet hardest to grow
flowers in the world.
